Warrand for transporting nyne Frazers from Invernes to Edinburgh
A Letter from the Shirreff deput of Invernes to the Lord high Chancelor Giving ane account that the Frazers of Bowfort are fled and the Lady Douager of Lovatt sett at Libertie and the rest are scattered And that nyne Gentlemen of the name of Frazer Have Entered themselves prisoners to the shirreff deput The Lords of his Majesties privie Councell Doe heirby Give order and warrand to the Laird of Grant Shirreff principall of the shire of Invernes and his deputes To Cause Convoy under a sufficient guard from Invernes to the shire of Nairn the persons of the Nyne Gentlemen under a sufficient guard from Shirreff to Shirreff till they Come to the toune of Aberdeen And appointes the Guard to delyver them to the Magistrats of Aberdeen And the saids Magistrats to detaine the said Gentlemen prisoners untill a party of his Majesties forces shall Come to receave them And Recomends to the Lord Carmichaell Commander in cheiff for the tyme of his Majesties forces within this Kingdome To send a troop of his Majesties forces to Aberdeen to receave the persons of the said nyne Gentlemen of the name of Frazer from the Magistrats of Aberdeen whom The Councell appoyntes the saids Magistrats to delyver to the Commanding officer of the said troop to receave them And to Conduct them to the toune of Edinburgh And to delyver them prisoners to the magistrats of Edinburgh and Keepers of their tolbooth And appointes the saids Magistrats of Edinburgh and Keeper of their tolbooth to receave the persons of the saids nyne Gentlemen and detaine them prisoners in their tolbooth till furder order of Councell.
