Warrand to Lord Advocat to wryte for seamen to Captain Burds Ship
The Lords of his Majesties privie Councill doe heirby Recommend to Sir James Steuart his majesties advocat to wryte in name and authority of the Councill to the magistrats of the severall maritime townes uithin the firth That they proportion amongst them and furnish to Captain […] Burd Commander of a man of warr belonging to this Kingdome the number of tuenty sufficient seamen And if the said tuenty men be not2 Immediatly funished That the magistrats send in to the Councill Lists of all the seamen uithin their respective bounds uith Certification that the Councill will take another order for uplifting of the said seamen as Law will allow.
