Warrand for Banishing Joseph Martine

The Lords of his Majesties privie Councell Having Considered ane Enactment or Consent to their Lordships by Sir James Steuart his Majesties advocat subscribed by Joseph Martine sometyme prentice to Robert Steadman skipper Bearing that he being delated and Imprisoned for Certaine Crimes he does willingly and freely Consent to his banishment in the plantations In America raither then to abyde an tryall They heirby Interpone their authority to the said Joseph Martine his banishment and Enactment And doe heirby Banish the said Joseph Martine to his Majesties plantations in America And discharges him to returne without the King or Councills warrand And Gives order and warrand to the Magistrats of Edinburgh and Keeper of their tolbooth to Liberat and sett Furth the said Joseph Martine furth of their tolbooth In order to his transportation to his Majesties plantations And to delyver the said Joseph to his mother or other freinds for that effect In presence and at sight of the said Sir James Steuart his Majesties advocat To whom The said Lords doe heirby Recommend to see the said Joseph shipped in the first ship going for his Majesties plantations or to take security of his saids friends and relations that they shall ship him for the same uith the first ship going therto And that he shall never returne uithout the King or Councells warrand.
