Letter from the Queen To The Councill adjourning the parliament to the Fourth day of Apprill nixt
Letter from the Queens Majestie To the Councill for adjurning the parliament to the fourth of Apprill nixt Read and ordered to be recorded Wherof the tennor Followes Sic supra subscribitur Anne Regina
Right trusty and right weell beloved Cousin and Councellor, Right trusty and enteirly beloved Cousins and Councellors, Right trusty and weell beloved Cousins and Councellors, Right trusty and weell beloved Councellors, and trusty and weell beloved Councellors Wee greet yow weell Wheras the present state of our affaires does not requyre the meeting of our parliament of that our antient Kingdome soe soon as the Tuo and Twentieth day off February Instant To which it was last adjourned Wee are therfore Resolved to continow the said adjournment to the Fourth day of Apprill nixt and that the members of parliament may not be put to the trouble and chairges of meeting upon the said Tuo and Twentieth day off February It is our will and pleasure and hereby authorize and Requyre yow to Issue furth a new proclamation in our name Ordering the Continuance of the forsaid adjournment of our parliament From the said Tuenty second day of February Instant To the said Fourth day off Appryll nixt to come and ordaining all the members therof to attend that day att Edinburgh in the usuall way and upone the accustomed certificationes, For doeing wherof This shall be your warrand and soe wee bid yow heartily fairwell Given at our Court att St James the 8th day of February 1703/4 and of our Rigne the second year By her Majesties Command Sic Subscribitur Cromertie.
