Recommendation To Livetennent Generall Ramsay To order 40, foot, and 20, Dragouns to the Westren Coasts
The Lords of Her Majesties privy Councill Haveing Considered the severall Informationes That Irish victwall was ready to be imported since the withdrawen of the forces that were assisting to Captain Patrick Ogilvie for secureing the Westerin Coasts against Importing of Irish victwall horse and other Catle Doe heirby Recommend To Livetennent Generall George Ramsay Commander in Cheiff of Her Majesties forces within this Kingdome presently to give order and appoynt a Detachment of Fourty Foott, and Tuenty Dragouns duely Commanded to march to the Western Coasts And there to be under the Direction of Captain Patrick Ogilvie upon the saids Westren Coasts for the better Enabling and assisting him To hinder the Importation of all Irish or other Forraigne victwall horse, and other Catle into this Kingdome at any pairt within the Bounds of the saids Western Coasts specified and Contained in the Commission granted to him By the Lords of privy Councill.
