Warrand anent receaving The Dutches of Argyle Cautioner for Highland Clans

The Committee of privy Councill appointed anent The Highland Cheiftans and Clans Haveing made a verball report to the Councill That Her Grace The Dutches off Argyll was to be Cautioner for John Cameron younger of Lochyell, Robert Steuart of Appine, Hector McClean off Lochbuy, Allan McClean of Ardgowr, Donald McClean of Cole, and John McDonald of Glencoe The Councill approves therof And allowes Her Grace To give Bond for each of them as Cautioner ay and whyle her sone the Duke of Argyle renew the samen under such penalty as the said Committee shall think fitt.
