Committee upon the Queens Letter and for drawing ane Commission for ane Capitulation with the states of Holland

Letter from the Queens Majestie to the Councill anent recruits to the scots Regiments abroad, Being read was ordered to be recorded And the Councill Nominats and Appoints The Marques of Annandale, Lord president of Session, And Advocat, and Livt General Ramsay To be a Committee for considering the forsaid Letter, And to prepare ane answer thereto by the Councill and to consider what orders are to be given by the Councill anent the Recruits; As also ane Commission to be granted for setling a Capitulation with the states of Holland, That the six Scots Regiments in there service may be continued to be standing Regiments in tyme of peace, als well as in tyme of warr, And Recommends to the said Committee to meet to morrow at Twelve of the Clock in the forenoon, And declaires any three a quorum And to Report.
