Warrant

Warrand for Transporting Sir George Maxwell and Captain Livingstoun To the Castle of Edinburgh

His Grace Her Majesties High Commissioner, And the Lords of Her Majesties privie Councill Doe heirby Give order and warrant To the Magistrats of Edinburgh, And keepers of there Tolbooth. Instantly to cause transport the persons of Sir George Maxwell of Orchartoun and Captain John Livingstoun now prisoners in there Tolbooth, from thence to the Castle of Edinburgh And gives order and warrant to the Commandant and Commanding officer there, To receave them prisoners in the said Castle, and detain them open prisoners there whyll furder orders of Councill theranent.
