Act and proclamation anent the Sealls Signets and Cashetts etc

Ane Act and proclamation anent the Sealls Signets and Cashetts and wrytes passing the Same. Read The Samen was voted approven; and Signed; And ordained to be printed and published and Recorded wherof the tenor followes
The Lords of her Majesties privy Councill; Considering That now upon the decease of our late Soveraign Lord King William of Glorious and blessed Memory Its necessary That provision be made for the Sealls Viz the great and privy Sealls; Quarter Seall and Signets of Councill, Session and Justice Court with the Cashet untill the Same Shall be renewed As Likewayes That in the Like caices upon the decease of King Charles the Second; The Lords of Session then Sitting did by their act of Sederunt of the 14 February 1685 Declair That they would allow and Sutaine Such Sumands Letters horning Captiones Inhibitiones Areistments Louseing of Areistments publicationes of interdictiones precepts Breives Charges to enter heir; Charges of Laborowes Suspensiones advocationes and other wrytes and dilligences raised, And either not at all, or not fully execute or perfected before the day That the Said King Charles the second his Successor was proclaimed; Which act was also Ratified and approven by the Lords of privy Councill upon the 14th day of the said moneth; Therfore and In Respect that now by the happy Succession of Queen Anne to the Imperiall Crown of this realme in place of our said deceast soveraigne; Ther is no interuption in the Government; They Declair and Ordaine That all the saids sealls Signets and Cashetts Shall be Continued and appended and affixed to all wrytes and in all caices as still they are and have been in use to be appended and affixed before the decease of our Soveraigne Lord And that ay and while the Same Shall be renewed; And the renewing therof published by proclamation of our said soveraigne Lady who now Reignes only with this distinction That the Samen in this interim shall be appended and affixed as said is with this remark by the appender and affixer, att the appending and affixing therof; (By Speciall order untill the New Sealls or Signets or Cashetts be renewed) Which Sealls Signet and Cashett thuss appended and affixed with the mark forsaid shall be of the same force and validity in all respects as aither the said Sealls Signet and Cashet were in our Said Soveraigne Lords time; or shall be when renewed by our Soveraigne Lady as said is And Farder the saids Lords of Councill Doe Declair and Ordaine that the haill forsaid Sumondses Letters Hornings Captiones Inibitiones arreistments Lowseing of Arreistments, publication of interdictions precepts Breives; Charges to enter heir; Charges of Laborowes, Suspensiones advocationes and other wrytes and dilligences raised and yet not at all or not fully execute and perfyted before the 13th March instant, The Which day our Soveraigne Lady wes proclamed are to be allowed and Sustained with all that has followed or may follow therupon, In Lyke maner and to have the Same force and effect as if the same hade been perfected and they hade received their full effect and execution dureing the Life and reign of our said late Soveraigne Lord Recommending to the Lords of Session, when they shall meett to cause Record this act in their books of Sederunt and that all concerned may have Speedy Nottice therof, The saids Lords Ordaines these presents to be printed and published at the marcat cross of Edinburgh.
