Letter from the King to the Councill anent the Marching of the Viscount of Teviot’s regiment into England

Letter from the King to the Councill anent the Marching of the Viscount of Teviots Regiment into England with all expedition Being Read was ordered to be Recorded, wherof the tenor followes
Sic Supra Scribitur William Rex
Right trustie and right well beloved Cousin and Councillor; Right trustie and intirely beloved Cousins and Councillors Right trustie and weell beloved Cousins and Councillors Right trustie and well beloved Cousins and Councillors and trustie and well beloved Councillors; Wee greet yow weell, Wheras by our Letter to yow of Yesterdayes date wee did Recall the orders given by us relating to the Regiment of Dragoons Commanded by the Viscount of Teviot And wee now finding it necessary That our said first orders should be put in executione Doe Therfore Requyre yow without delay to give orders That the said regiment March into England with all expedition in the termes of our Letter to yow of the thrid day of this instant; which yow are to observe exactly in all points, For doeing wherof this shall be your warrant, So Wee bid yow heartily farewell Given at our Court at Kensingtoune the twelth day of February 1701/2 and of our rigne the 13th year. By his Majesties Command Sic Subscribitur Hyndfoord
