Recommendation to the thesaury In favours of the 4 Macers of Session
Anent The petition given in and presented to his Grace her majesties high Commissioner and Lords of her majesties privie Councill, by the four Ordinary macers before the Lords of Councill and Session, Showeing That where the petitioners subsistance does Intirely depend wpon the Sitting of the Session att the ordinary tymes, appoynted for that effect, the Casualityes of ther office being the only mean of ther livelyhood haveing no more Sellaries from her majestie but ten pounds Starling per annum, and It being found necessary these severall yeares bygone, that the parliament (2where the petitioners give dilligent attendance, Should Sitt the tyme appoynted for the Session, by which the petitioners are Intirely deprived of ther Subsistance and Likwayes the petitioners were att Considerable expenses in provydeing themselves with mournings for his majestie of ever blessed memory Likeas the macers of privie Councill and the other srvants of Thesaurie and Councill were provyde by the publict Likeas The petitioners are in Constant use to gett allowance for ther srvice in parliament, and Therefore Craveing to the effect after mentioned as the said petition beares Her majesties high Commissioner and the Lords of her majesties privie Councill haveing Considered the within petition given in to them, by the four ordinary macers before the Lords They hereby Recomends the petitioner to the Lords Commissioners of her majesties Thesaurie for ther extrordinary pains in ther attendance, dureing the last session of parliament, and for ther provydeing themselves with mourneings, wpon the accompt of the death of the late King of ever blessed memory
