Warrant

Warand for publishing the proclamation for calling a new parliament and to the Solicitor for transmitting Copies therof

A Letter from the Queens Majestie to the Councill for Calling and indicting a new parliament Read and ordered to be Recorded; and their being a proclamation under her Majesties Royall hand Calling and indicting the Said New parliament to meett at Edinburgh the twelth day of November nixt to come And the Samen being read in their presence The Lords of her Majesties privy Councill ordained the Samen to be recorded printed and published at the Marcat cross of Edinburgh and at the Marcat crosses of the remanent head burghs of the Severall Shyres and Stewartries of this kingdome And appoints her Majesties Solicitors to transmitt Copies therof to the respective Shirriffs and Stewarts of this kingdome to the effect they may conveen the free holders within their respective bounds and the Magistrats of the respective burghs their toune Councills furth with to elect their respective Commissioners to the ensueing parliament
