Committy for inspecting the Records of parliament and other Registers anent the Union
The Lords of her Majesties privy Councill Doe hereby Nominat and appoint the Earle of Seafeild Lord Secrettary of State; The Earles of Lowdoun, Leven, Viscount of Tarbat and Lord President of Session To be a Committie to inspect the Records of parliament and other registers Lying in the Laigh parliament house anent the Union of the two kingdomes And Recommends to the said Committie to repair to morow morning at ten of the Cloak in the forenoon to the Laigh parliament house, And their inspect all the registers and records Lying their; That many any wayes relate to the Union betwixt the two kingdomes of Scotland and England And Ordaines the keepers of the said Laigh parliament house to attend their, and Give the saids Lords inspection of what records and registers they shall call for; And Ordaines the Clerks to give extracts of what the Committie please out of the saids Registers and records; And appoints Sir David Dalrymple her Majesties Solicitor to attend the Committee ther.
