The Lords of her Majesties privy Councill haveing Considered a petition given in to them be Alexander Chambers of Balnacraig They Doe hereby Stop and Discharge all execution of any Sentance of death past and pronunced against John Dow Mcallum Archibald Mcqueen vic ean Angus Mceven Wrogich; William More Mcferrill and Even McWilliam by the Commissioners of Justiciary for the Northern district of the Highlands upon the indictments and processes intented and caried on before the Saids Judges and Commissioners against them or any other process or indictment already intented or hereafter to be Commenced or intented against them before the Saids Commissioners untill the Nynth day of June nixt being the Second Thursday of the Said Moneth inclussive; And furder ay and while the saids Lords give their furder orders for that effect And in the Mean time discharges the Magistrates of Aberdeen and all other Magistrates and persones whatsomever from puting the Sentance of Death already pronunced or any other Sentance of death that may happen to be pronunced by the saids Commissioners of Justiciary to any maner of execution untill the day forsaid; And furder ay and while the saids Lords give their particular orders for that effect Requyreing and Commanding. Nevertheless the saids Magistrates of Aberdeen to keep and detaine the Saids John Dow Mcallan Archibald Mcqueen Vicean Angus Mceven Wrogich William More Mcferrill and Even McWilliam their prisoners in Sure custody and firmance dureing the time forsaid As they will be answerable And in the mean time allowed the Said petition to be seen and Answered by any person concerned Sic Subscribitur Marchmont Cancellar Crafurd Northesk Tarbat, Forbes, Hew Dalrymple, James Steart C Campbell Lodovick Grant Patt: Johnstone.
