Commission Infavors of Prince George of Denmark to be Generallissimo

Commission under the Great seall of this Kingdome In favors of Prince George of Denmark To be Generallissimo of her Majesties forces raised and to be raised and of the Militia within this Kingdome Read and ordered to be recorded wherof the tenor followes
Anna Dei Gratia Magnae Britanniae Franciae et Hibern[i]ae Regina fideique defensor Omnibus probus2 hominibus suis ad quos presentes literae nostrae pervenerint Salutem Noveritis nos nominasse Constituisse et Ordinasse Sicuti nos tenore presentiun3 Nominamus constituimus et ordinamus Georgium Danae principem Charisimum Nostrum conjugem Imperatorem et Ducem Generalem Omnium Nostrarum Capiarum4 in Antiquo nostro Scotiae Regno conscriptarum aut conscribendarum Ac Etiam earum quas Militiam vocant Dando et Concedendo illi praedictum officium cum omnibus titulis dignitatibus et praeheminentiis eo spectantibus vel aliquo tempore retro acto; per quosvis predicto summo munere vestitos , possessis cum potestate Fidem5 illi edicta sua promulgari consandi6 mandata concedendi et alia Quaecunque pro executionem presentis nostrae Commissionis Necessaria faciendi et exercendi Mandamus porro per presentes Omnibus Nostrae Militii7 officiariis Illi ejusque pre[ceptis] preceptis obsequi Omnibusque aliis quibuscunque cum Sicuti praesenti suo Characteri congruum est agnoscere et Revereri Et hanc presentam Nostram Commissionem durante Nostro bene placito Duntaxat durare et continuare volumus In Cujus Rei Testimonium presentibus Magnum Sigillum Nostrum appendi praecipimus Apud aulam Nostram de St James’s vigesimo primo die Mensis Augusti anno domini Millesimo septingentessimo secundo Et anno Regni nostri primo.
