Recommendation To the Lord Advocat To write to the Sheriff of Forfar for regulating the mercats

The Lords of his majesties privy Councill doe heirby Recommend the Lord Advocate to write to the sheriff of Forfar That he take care of Keeping the mercats at Dundee regular and that victuall be brought their, for sale, and the Town of Dundee and Countrey round about Keeped in peace and order anent the buying and selling of meall and other victuall And Likeways to write to any persons his Lordship shall think fitt or whom he Knows to be regraters of Victuall; That they take care and Especialy observe the Laws and acts of parliament and Councill made anent the orderly buying and selling of victuall.
