Committee For Examineing persons come from France

The Lords of his majesties privy Councill nominats and appoints The Earle of Melvill Lord President of Privy Councill The Earles of Argyle Cassills and Leven, The Lord Strathnaver Lord Advocate and Lord Thesaurer Deput to be a Committee To Consider and make Inquiry what persones are lately come from France against the late act of Parliament, And To call for and Examine These persones anent their deportment when in France And Anent what Suspect persons they have Conversed with while there, And upon such other pertinent Interrogators as they shall Think fitt, And Recomends to the Committee To meet To morrow at Ten in the forenoon And To make their Report To the Councill with their Conveniency, And declares any Three of the above Committee to be a Sufficient quorum, And Apoints his majesties Sollicitor To attend the dyetts of the above Comittee.
