Warrand to send a party of Souldiers to Bring John Frazer and Hutcheon Oig from Elgin to Edinburgh Tolbooth

The Lords of his Majesties privy Councill Being Informed That John Frazer of Migovir and Hutcheon Oig Two of Frasers of Bewforts accomplices Being forfaulted and prisoners in the Tolbooth of Elgin, By order of the Sheriff of Murray and who haveing Broken the said prison hade Escaped, If some persons hade not happened to Come by, The saids Lords of privy Councill doe heirby Recommend To the Earle of Argyle Commander in cheiff of the tyme of his majesties forces within this Kingdom To send a Competent party of his Majesties forces to be a Guard To Convoy the Two prisoners abovenamed from the Tolbooth of Elgin where they now ly To the Tolbooth of Edinburgh And Appoints the magistrats of Elgin To deliver the saids John Frasser and Hutcheon Oig To the Commander of the party so to be sent, And The Magistrats of Edinburgh and Keeper of their Tolbooth To Receave the saids Two persons prisoners, from the said party, And to detain them prisoners in their Tolbooth of Edinburgh till the Councills farder orders anent them.
