Procedure

Additionall Commission anent the Exportation of Wool

The Councill by their Interloquitor of the Fourth of May Jaj vjc nynty nyne having Remitted to his Grace the Duke of Queensberrie The Earles of Morton, Lauderdale, Leven and Annandale, The Lord Thesaurer Deput, The Lord Crossrigg, Sir Robert Sinclair of Stevensone and the present Lord Provost of Edinburgh To consider the petition given in to their Lordships be Mr John Buchan agent for the Royall Burrows anent the Exportion of wool And to hear all parties who shall desyre to be heard thereon And To fall upon and propose Such overtures as they shall find most necessary and pertinent against the Exporters, And Thereafter having By their Interloquitor of the same date added the Lord Strathnaver To the above Committee, And declared that any of the Councill who shall be In Town, and meet with the Committee shall have power to sitt and vote with them as if they were members named thereof, The Councill Doe heirby continue the said Committee as above named, and added and adds to them The Earle of Lothian, The Lords Justice-Clerk Philiphaugh and Rankillor, Mr Francis Montomgry to the above Committee, And continues the quorum as formerly And Remitts to The above Committee, To consider and proceed in whats already Remitted to them, And furder to consider that point anent the Exportation of Linnen yearn Furth of this Kingdom and all acts of parliament relating thereto. And Recomends to the above Comittee To meet to morrow at Ten in the forenoon, And to make their Reports to the councill with their Conveniencie.
