Order To the Sollicitor To cause cite Bailie Duncan in Dundee

A Representation was given in To the Lords of his majesties privy Councill Shewing that the officers of Colonel Rows Regiment which were Removed from Inverness To the Town of Dundee were Indiscreetly used by the Magistrats of that Town, who Refused to provide quarters for the saids officers and gave them Billets for that Effect, particularly one Baillie Duncan in Dundee, And being Read, The same was delivered up to Sir Patrick Home his majesties Solicitor To consider if the same be consistent or Inconsistent with the act of Parliament, And the saids Lords Appoints the said Solicitor, If he find ground for it to cause cite the said Bailie Duncan who is presently in this Town To answer To the Councill against their next meeting.
