Comittee Anent the poor and the Dutches of Hamiltons Petition

The Councill Recomends To the Committee formerly appointed Anent the poor and the Dutches of Hamiltons petition Viz: The Lord President of privy Councill, The Earles of Lothian, Loudoun, The Lord President of privy Councill, The Earles of Lothian, Loudoun and Leven, The Lords Strathnaver and Boyle, The Lords President of Session, Lord Advocate, Lord Thesaurer Depute: Lord Justice-Clerk Lords Aberuchill, Halcraig, Crosrigg, and Phesdoe, Mr Francis Montgomry Sir Robert Sinclar of Stevensone And The Provost of Edinburgh To consider what parishes have been most Backward in giving obedience to the Proclamations of privy Councill, anent Beggars, And to condescend upon the disobedient paroches, And To make Report of their names To the Councill, To the Effect they may be called upon, and fyned or otherways punished for ane Example to others, And Recomends To the Comittee to meet to morrow at ten in the forenoon And declares any Three of them to be a Sufficient quorum.
