Committee For considering a Letter from a Justiciary court att Forres

A Letter from a Justiciary court at Forres dated the Sixteenth of November Jaj vic nynty nyne years, Direct to the Lord High Chancellor, giving account how they are Spulzied with Sorners and Robbers being Read, The Councill Nominates and appointes The Committee appointed anent the Garrisones who are also on the Committee The nynth day of this moneth upon the Bill given in by Livetennent Coll: Dalziell, in Coll: Rows Regiment viz The Earles of Argyle, Mar, Buchan, Lauderdale and Leven Lord Strathnaver, Lord Ruthven, Lords Advocate, Thesaurer Deput, Aberuchill and Phesdo and Laird of Grant, To be a Committee For Considering of the Said Letter, And declares any Three of them to be a Sufficient quorum, And Recomends to them to meet to morrow at Three in the afternoon, And to make their Report to the Councill with their conveniency. – Taken off the minuts because the printed Letter and Committee is wanting.
