Warrand For Banishing John Weir

His Majesties Advocate, Having Represented to the Councill that John Weir Sometyme in Carnwath parish, was sent prisoner For Breaking of Barns and houses and Stealing out severall goods in the night tyme and That the probation was not so Full and clear, But that he hade consented to Banishment out of the Kingdom never to return under the pain of death, as his Consent under his hands To his Majesties Advocate will Testifie Therfore The saids Lords of his Majesties privy Councill of Consent of the said John Weir, have Banished and heirby Banishes him the said John Weir Furth of this Kingdom of Scotland, And discharges him to Returne within the same att any tyme hereafter without his Majestys or the Councills orders for that Effect, And heirby gives order and warrant to the Magistrats of Edinburgh and Keeper of their Tolbooth where the said John now lyes, to sett him att liberty Furth therof In order to his said Banishment, The said John Weir First before Extracting heirof Enacting himself in the Books of privy Councill, That he shall undergoe observe and fulfill the said Banishment, and never Return within this Kingdom without his Majesty or the Councills warrand for that Effect, under all highest pain that after may follow.
