Act Kinfauns for citeing more witnesses

Anent the petitione given in to The Lords of her majesties privie Cownsell be Alexander Blair alias Carnegie of Kinfauns and his creators Shewing That wheras in the complaint at the petitioners instance against Finneven and his daughter befor ther Lordships for declaireing of the pretend mock marriage betuixt Finnevens doughter and the petitioners to be nwll and void He haveing alreadie cited Some witnesses But ther being severall others that are but newly come to his knowledge who are very necessarie and will cleare the whole mater And they not yet being cited nor can the petitioner cite them the day of compeareance in the lybell being past wnles he gett a warrand from ther Lordships And therfore humbly craveing to the effect eftermentioned As the said petitione bears Which petitione being this day read and considered be the saids Lords of his majesties privie Counsell They doe hereby allow Letters of dilligence to be direct at the instance of the petitioner for citeing of Swch wittnesses in the above process which are but newly come to his knouledge against tewsday next being the fiftein of Febrwary instant and in the mean tyme Continwes the said lybell untill that day.
