Warrant

Warrand To Brigadier Maitland To Import from Ireland meall and malt for the use of his Garrison

The Lords of his majesties privy Councill Doe heirby allow Brigadier Maitland present Governour of Fortwilliam To Bring from Ireland for the use of that Garrison and the out-Garrisons belonging thereto, The number and quantity of one Thousand Bolls meall and ane Thousand Bolls malt. And appoints The said Brigadier Maitland To take sufficient Caution of the Skippers and others who shall be Employed by him, For Importing The said victual, That they shall Import no furder quantity of victual nor for no other use from the said Kingdom of Ireland then the quantity abovespecified. And That the same shall be Employed for the use of the said Garrison of Fort-William and out-garrisons belonging thereto allenarly and no other way.
