Letter from the King Discharging any persons of publict Trust to withdraw furth of this Kingdom
The Letter underwrittin from his Majestie To his privy Councill Being Read was ordered to be Receaved whereof the tenor follows.
Sic suprascribitur William Rex
Right trusty and right welbeloved Cousin and Councellor, Right trusty and Entirely beloved Cousin and Councellor. Right trusty and Right welbeloved Cousins and Councellors, Right trusty and welbeloved Cousins and Counsellors. Right trusty and welbeloved Councellors. and trusty and welbeloved Councellors. Wee greet yow well. Whereas The present posture and circumstances of affairs in that our Kingdom, Require That those of our Councill and any others Imployed by us in publict Trust, do attend their respective offices and charges there, It is Therfore our will and pleasure, That none of our Privy Council or any who are otherwise Imployed in publick trust, doe upon any pretence whatsoever. withdraw themselves from that our Kingdom Before the First day of march next without leave obtained from us, as they will be Answerable. And, Wee doe heirby authorize yow to make publication of this our pleasure either by proclamation or otherways. as yow shall think fitt. That none may pretend Ignorance. For doing whereof this shall be yowr warrant. And so wee bid yow heartily farewell. Givin at our Court at Kensington The Thirteenth day of December 1698 and of our Reign the 10th yeare. By his Majesties Command sic subscribitur Seafield.
