Warrant For calling For Doctor Cornelius Cone att the house of Channery
His Majesties high Commissioner and Lords of his majesties privy privy2 Councill Doe heirby give order and warrant and3 to The commanding officer of the forces at Inverness To send ane sufficient pairty of the forces under his Command To the Earle of Seaforths House of Channery. And their to Require the person of Doctor Cornelius Cone from the present Countess of Seaforth To be delivered To the said pairty. And heirby Requires the said Countess To deliver the said Doctor Cornelius Cone to the said pairty and their commanding officer. And If the Countess doe Refuse That the pairty doe make search Throw the said house of Chanry and pertinents thereof or any other place where they are Informed The said Doctor is, and Take and apprehend the person of the said Doctor Cornelius Cone and Convoy him under the said pairty as a Guard to the city of Edinburgh And deliver him to the Magistrats thereof. And ordains The saids magistrats of Edinburgh To Receave the said doctor Cornelius Cone And To Committ him prisoner to their tolbooth till Furder order of Councill, and doe heirby give order and warrant To Sir Patrick Home his Majesties Sollicitor Immediately to dispatch Ane Express with this order to the comanding officer at Inverness.
