Warrant

Warrant To the Keeper of Edinburgh Tolbooth To furnish prisoners meat and Drink

The Lords of his majesties privy Councill Doe heirby give order and warrant To the Keeper of the Tolbooth of Edinburgh To Furnish meat and drink to such prisoners as are in the said Tolbooth whose names shall be given in a List to him subscrived be Sir James Stewart his Majesties Advocate at the rate of Four shilling scots per diem for each man, And heirby Recommends the said Keeper To the Lords Commissioners of his majesties Thesaury for repayment of what shall be debursed be him in obedience to this order.
