Warrand for Letters of Relaxation In favours of the Frasers of Beufort and their accomplices
The Lords of his Majesties privy Councill having heard a Representation made to them by Sir James Stewart his majesties Advocate That he hes a process of Treason depending att his Lordships Instance before the Lords Commissioners of his majesties Justiciary against Thomas and Captain Simeon Frasers Elder and younger of Beauforts and others their accomplices In which process the saids Beauforts and others forsaids cannot appear In Respect they are denunced Rebells upon a process depending at the said Lord Advocates Instance before the Lords of privy Councill unless they be relaxed from their rebellion upon the said process before the Councill. Therfore The saids Lords Doe heirby Give order and warrand to their Clerks of Councill To Raise and give furth Letters of Relaxation In favours of the saids Bewforts Elder and younger and others forsaids ad hune Specialem Effectum That they may have personam Standi in Judicio In the process of Treason Depending at the said Lord Advocats Instance against them before the saids Lords Commissions of his Majesties Justiciary att the days to which they are cited to compear in the said Process of Treason upon this warrand Ther was given out Letters of Relaxatione For Thomas and Captain Simeon Frasers Elder and younger of Beufort […] Fraser of Strowie […] Fraser of Erchest […] Fraser of Foraline […] Fraser of Dalcraig […] Fraser of Culdenchall younger John Fraser Brother to Caldenchall in Borlum of Aberlurff.
