Warrand changing the sentence of Death pronunced against Jannet Alstoune, to Banishment

The Lords of his Majesties privie Councill Doe heirby change the sentence of death pronunced by the Lords Commissioners of his Majesties Justiciary against Jannet Alstoune for murdering her own Child in the terms of the act of parliament The nynteenth day of July Jaj vic nynty years from death to Banishment And heirby Banishes the aid Jannet Alstoune furth of his Majesties Dominions to his Majesties plantations in America and gives order and warrand to the magistrats of Edinburgh within whose Tolbooth The said Jannet lyes To take care that they see her shiped in the First ships going from Leith to America and appoints the magistrats to take surety That she shall be Transported To America The said Jannet Before Extracting heirof First Enacting herself in the books of his Majesties privy Councill That she shall depairt furth of his Majesties Dominions and be transported to his Majesties said plantations in America in the First ships going thither from Leith and That she shall never return within his Majesties Dominions without his Majestie or the Councills warrant under the paine of having the forsaid sentence of death pronunced against her putt to Execution without mercy or delay.
