Anent The Petition Given in To the Lords of his Majesties privy Councill By Alexander Fraser of Strichen Shewing That where This Thursday Being being the Eigth of February appointed by There Lordships act of date The […] day of […] Last bypast for ther petitioners appearance before ther Lordships, In order wherunto Ther petitioner was Likeways ordained att the sight of the Sheriff principall of Inverness or his Deputes to give Bond by himself and Cautioner under the pain of a Thousand pound Sterling To sist himself against this said Eight day of February. And which Bond The Petitioner and […] Cuthbert of Castlehill as Cautioner for him did accordingly subscrive as the same In the hands of the Laird of Grant Sheriff principall of the said shire and one of their Lordships number can Testifie, and now seing the petitioner is now here apud acta attending ther Lordships pleasure this said Eight of February forsaid. And Therfore Humbly Craving ther Lordships would be pleased by ther Deliverance upon the said petition To order the petitioners said Bond to be delivered up to him as the said petition Bears Which Petition Being this day Read in presence of the saids Lords of his Majesties privy Councill, They ordained The said Alexander Fraser of Streichen To give Bond and find sufficient Caution acted in the Books of his Majesties privy Councill That he shall attend in and about The Town of Edinburgh Till the first of March next Inclusive and That he shall appear Before the Lords of his Majesties privy Councill or ther Committee whensoever he shall be Called Required or Cited to that Effect Betwixt and the said day and answer to what shall be Laid to his Charge under the penalty of five Hundered pounds Sterling And In Respect the said Bond and Caution is Before Extracting heirof found and Given in. The saids Lords ordains Stichens former Bond which is in the hands of the Laird of Grant to be delivered up to him.
