Warrant
Warrand for a safe Conduct To The Earle of Seafort
The Lords of his Majesties privy Councill Considering That the Earle of Seaforth is presently att Edinburgh Having appeared in obedience to a Citation given to his Lordship att the Lord Advocats Instance Before the privy Councill, And being Informed That the said Earle of Seaforth is designing to Return home, Therfore The saids Lords of his majesties privy Councill for the said Earle his farder security Doe heirby grant Safe Conduct to his Lordship Discharging all persons upon pretence of whatsoever prior warrand or upon any other prior pretext to trouble or Stopp or Imped his Lordship in Travelling from Edinburgh To his house in Brahand in the shire of Ross, and that from the day The said Earle shall take his Journey from Edinburgh To Endure for the space of Eleven days following thereafter.
