Warrant For Imprisoning Fergusly
The Lords of his Majesties privy Councill In Regaird that William Cochran of Ferguslie hath not conform to his subscribed minut of Roup and Tack of the Pole money found sufficient Caution and caused the saids Cautioners subscrive the said Tack with him. Doe Therfore Recommend to Mr Francis Montgomry of Giffin and Sir John Maxwell of Pollock Two of their own number or Either of them To cause seize and apprehend the person of the said Wiliam Cochran wherever he may be found and to make him prisoner in the next sure prison untill he find Caution under the penalty of Ten Thousand merks Scots. To Appear before the Lords of his Majesties privy Councill or their Committee appointed by them to meet at Edinburgh The Fourteinth of October Instant and that they Return the said Bond To the Clerks of Councill betwixt and the said day.
