Decreet
Interloquitor anent Leslys
The Lybell at the Instance of His Majesties Advocat and James and Robert Lesly’s against John and Christian Leslys and Alexander Abercromby Brother to the Lord Glasfoord being this day Called In presence of the Lords of his Majestys privy Councill, And the said James Lesly one of the pursuers Compearing personally, And Sir James Stewart His Majesty’s Advocat and Mr John Horn Compearing as Advocats for both the Pursuers and John and Christian Leslys defenders being Laufully Cited oftimes Called and not Compearing and Thomas Abercromby the third defender Compearing personally with Mr Francis Grant and Mr Robert Forbes Senior as Advocats for the haill defenders, The Lyble and answers thereto made for the haill defenders being Read, and the Councill having Considered both the lyble and answers made thereto, and both parties procurators being heard at the Councill barr and the saids Lords having heard Two Testificats anent the said John and Christian Leslys this keeping the protestant Church, The Saids Lords do heirby ordain the Saids John and Christian Leslys Two of the defenders to Exhibite and produce themselves, and the said Thomas Abercromby to produce them in presence of the saids Lords, and that betwixt and the First Thursday of June next to come, with Certification to them, that the saids haill defenders in caice they shall Failzie Certification shall be granted against them as is usuall and Conform to the principall Letters.
