The Viscount of Teviot a privy Councillor named by his Majestie in his Last Commission of Councill of the date the 21 October 1698 being this day present did Swear and Signe the oath of alledgance and Signed the assurance and association to his Majestie Appointed by act of parliament and the Lord Chancellor haveing administrat to him the oath de fideli He was received a privy Councillor conforme to the forsaid Commission
