Warrant

Warrant Dischargeing Irish men, to Import any Victuall

The Lords of His Majesties Privy Councill being Informed That severall Strangers are come from Ireland with victuall since the Emitting of the Proclamation of Councill Emitted in January last, Dischargeing the Importation of any victuall from the said Kingdom of Ireland, and that they are lying at the port of Greenock, The saids Lords do heirby ordain the saids persons Irish men who are come from Ireland Since the forsaid Proclamation with Victuall to Return, and to take with them the Victuall Which they have brought with them from thence and discharges them to Liver Vend dispose upon, or sell the same at any place within the Kingdom of Scotland, and Recommends and gives order to Sir John Shaw, and the magistrats of Greenock or other magistrats of the bounds, To see the said Victuall So Imported from Ireland, Transported and again sent to sea furth of this Kingdom for Ireland, as they will be answerable
