Warrant for delyvering William Armstrong to Captain Lindsay to be caried abroad

The Lords of his Majesties privy Councill Doe hereby Give order and warrand to the magistrats of Edinburgh and keeper of their Tolbuith To Sett at Liberty furth therof; William Armstrong presently prisoner in the Tolbooth of Edinburgh; And to delyver him to Captain James Lindsay brother to the Earle of Crafurd in Collonell […] Regiment to be caried abroad by him to Holland or Flanders as a Souldier in his Majesties Service; In Respect the said petitioner befor extracting hereof has Subscrybed a Consent wherby he Consents of his oun accord to be caried abroad to the effect forsaid and hath given in the same to the Clerks of privy Councill.
