Procedure

Committie anent Anthony Oneill a suspect preist

The Lords of his Majesties privy Councill Does hereby Nominat and appoint his Majesties advocat, The Lord Thesaurer depute and Mr Francis Montgomry to be a Committee to call for and examine Anthony Oneill a suspected preist prisoner in the Cannogate Tolbooth who was sent here by Bridgadeer Maitland governor of Fort William and Imprisoned by the Lord Chancelors warrand. And appoints the said Committie to meett the morrow at ten of the Cloak in the forenoon; And to make their report to the Councill with their conveniencie; And Declaires any 2 two of the said Committie to be a quorum
