Warrant For Liberating Androw How

Sir James Stewart his Majesties advocat Haveing Represented That Androw How of Pannell is Committed prisoner (By order of his Lordship who hade power for that effect from the Councill) in the Tolbooth of Glasgow And that Mr Ezekell Montgomrie is a very infamous man who is Cheiff informer against him; And that his Lordship can gett no clear evidence from the said Mr Ezekell against him nor any other information from any other person which may be a sufficient probation against him The Lords of his Majesties privy Councill Doe Therfore Give order and Warrant to the Magistrats of Glasgow and keeper of their Tolbooth To sett the said petitioner at Libertie, For doeing wherof this shall be a Sufficient Warrant.
