Procedure

The Lords of His Majestys Privy Councill having heard a proclamation Read in their presence for Seazeing the horses and arms of Such as refuse the oath of Alledgance and assurance, They heirby Nominat and appoint, The Earles of Argyle, Mar, Leven, and Annandale The Viscount of Tarbat, Lord Montgomry, Lords Advocat, Thesaurer deput and Justice Clerk and Mr Francis Montgomry being the Committy formerly appointed for considering His Majestys Letter anent a Letter from the late Earle of Melfort to his brother the Earle of Perth, to be a Committy for filling up of blanks both as to names and other things contained in the Said proclamation, and appoints them to meet this afternoon at four of the Clock, and to have this proclamation ready against the next meeting of Councill.
