Recomendation to the Thesaurie in favours of the Macers of Session
Anent a petition given in to His majesties high Commissioner and the Lords of privie Councill by the four ordinary Macers of Councill and Session Shewing That where the poor petitioners were heavily prejudged thorrow the uncertainty of the last summar sessions sitting and the want of three moneths of this winter session occasioned thorrow the long sitting of the tuo last sessions of parliament And the petitioners haveing litle or nothing else to live and subsist their Families upon Bot some small perqwisits which doe aryse upon the sitting of the session haveing but ten pound yearly of sallerie wheras the macers before the saids Lords have Fiftie pound yearly and seeing The last session of parliament was adjurned without Recommending the petitioners to the Lords of Theasurie as Their Lordships were in use to doe Therfore Craveing to the effect aftermentioned As the said petition bears His Majesties high Commissioner And the Lords of His Majesties privie Councill haveing considered the above petition given in to them by the Macers of session They heirby Recomend to the Lords Commissioners of His Majesties Theasurie To allow the petitioners a suteable Gratification for their above losses and circumstances
