Procedure

Remitt to the Lord Chancelor to speak with Captains Campbell and Grant

The above Letter from his Majestie to the privy Councill anent the Establishment of two Companies of Souldiers In the Southern and Northern districts of the Highlands under the Command of Captain Campbell and Captain Grant, Read and ordered to be recorded And the Saids Lords Remitt to the Lord high Chancelor to speak with the Commander in Cheiff of his Majsties forces within this kingdome, And with the saids two Captains, And to intimat to them the contents of his Majesties said Letter In so farr as concernes them or any of them And appoints the said two Captains to attend the Councill at their nixt meeting.
