Procedure

Committie anent publict affairs dureing this ensueing vaccance

The Lords of his Majesties privy Councill Doe hereby Nominat and appoint The Marques of Annandale, The Earles of Lauderdale, Leven, and Forfar, The Viscounts of Tarbat, Teviot and Rossbery; The Lords Advocat Thesaurer depute; Crossrig and Phesdoe Sir Robert Sinclar and the provest of Edinburgh to be a Committie for Considering of publict affairs dureing the time of the ensueing vaccance with power to any Counciller who Shall be in Edinburgh when the said Committie Shall meet to meet and act with them And for Considering of whatsoever shall fall out and to acquaint the Lord Chancelor if they think it necessary that the Councill should meett at any day before the day to which it is adjourned; And Declares any fyve of the said Comittie to be a Sufficient quorum
