Protectione Lord Banff

The Lords of his Majesties Privie Councill Considering That the Lord Bamff was called and compearing in a proces at his Ladies instance against him before their Lordships and being informed that the proces is now setled and agreed They Hereby Grant personall protectione to the said Lord Bamff and discharges any messingers at armes or officers within burgh or Landward to put to executione any Letters of Captione acts of wardeing or others against the persone of the said Lord Bamff for whatsomever Cause or occasione untill the fyfteen day of August next to come excepting alwayes his majesties rents and publict dues to the effect he may returne to his owne home without prejudice or interruptione sic subscribitur Tweeddale Ipd Melvill Queeneberry Southerland J Morton Cassillis Leven Kintore Yester Polwarth
