The following Letter being read in Councill wes ordored to be recorded whereof the tenor followeth sic suprascribitur William Rex Right trusty and right wel beloved Cousin and Councillor right trustie and intirely beloved Cousin and Councillor, right trustie and right welbeloved Cousin and Councillor Right trustie and wel beloved Cousins and Councillors right trustie and welbeloved Councillors and trustie and welbeloved Councillor we greet you well Whereas our Commissioner to the last Generall assemblie did indict a new generall assemblie to meet the […] day of Apryle next and our affaires not alloweing it to meet at that tyme It is our will and wee doe Authorize and requyre you to emitt a Proclamatione in our name adjourneing the meeting of the generall assemblie from the […] day of Apryle next to the eleventh day of Julie next ensueing. For doeing whereof this shall be your warrand and so we bid you heartily farewell Given at our Court at Kensingtoune the tuentie third day of march 1694/5 and of our Reigne the sexth year By his majesties command sic subscribitur John Dalrymple
