Recomendation anent The accompts resting to the Earle of Pearths vassells

The Lords of his Majesties Privy Councill Haveing Considered the report of a Committie of ther oun number appoynted for reviseing the accompts resting to his majesties forces to the Countrey Bearing That the Committie haveing Considered the accompts given in to them be the Earle of Pearth his vassells Chamberlands and tennents within the shyre of Pearth with the instructiones and verificationes therof They Find that ther are severall articles of the saids accompts which are not in the termes of the act of parliament anent the polemoney and proclamations of Councill relative therto, And Therfore they have refused and rejected these articles, And Finds that their are severall articles in the saids accompts which are due by the forces not upon scots pay, Which the parties Concerned not haveing applyed for to be revised The Committie makes no report anent them And the Committie Finds that the haill other articles of the saids accompts stated arresting be his majesties forces upon scots pay are suficiently verified and proven either be recepts under the hands of the officers of the Garisones or souldiers to whom the same was furnished produced to the Committie or by the Oathes and depositiones of the parties furnishers taken before two of the Commissioners of Supply within the shyre of Pearth or be reports subscribed be the Commissioners bearing that the recepts were produced to them both Which depositiones and reports were produced to and Considered by the Comittie And Finds that Conforme to the saids accompts and instructiones Ther is resting by his majesties Garisones and forces upon scots pay besides the articles refused and rejected as said is, To the said Earle of Pearth his vassells Chamberlands and tenants the soumes of many following Viz By the Garisone of Drumond Comanded by Captaine Edward Bryce the soume of Two Thousand six hundreth nyntie fyve punds fourtein shilling four pennies scots Item by the deceast Lord Angus his regiment of foot the soume of Eight hundreth and Eighty punds fourtein shilling scots Item by the Earle of Glencairne his regiment of foot the soume of ane hundreth and Eightie punds sixtein shilling two penies scots, Item by the Earle of Argyll his regiment of foot the soume of ane Hundreth and fourtie one punds sixtein shilling scots, Item by the viscount of Kenmure his regiment of foot the soume of ane Hundreth and fiftein punds 2 Thrie shilling four penies scots Item by the Laird of Pollock his Troope of Horss the soume of ane Hundreth and fiftie five punds one shilling scots Item by the Lord Rollo his troop of horss the Soume of Two hundreth and nyntein punds nyne shilling scots Item by the Lord Newbotle his troope of horss Sixtie two punds Eight shilling scots Item by the Lord Beilhavens Troope of thretin punds Eleven shilling scots Extending all togither in haill the saids soumes resting by his majesties forces upon scots pay to the soume of fyve Thousand six hundred and Fourtie thrie punds six shilling four penies scots money And Finds that the haill articles quherof this Last Soume is made up were all furnished preseiding the first day of February Jaj vjc nyntie one years and that they are in the termes of the nynth act fourth sessione of this Current parliament Intituled act anent polemoney and also of the proclamations of Councill relative therto, And Therfore It is the Committies oppinion That the said soume of Fyve Thousand six hundreth and fourtie thrie punds six shilling four penies is to be payed out of the said polemoney and that the saids vassells Chamberlands and tennents are to be Recommended to the Lords Commissioners of his Majesties thesaury for payment of the same accordingly as the report bears and The saids Lords Likewayes Considered a Declaratione under the hands of Mr Thomas Chrichtone Chamberland to the Earle of Pearth Bearing that no part of the arreirs due by the army and acclaimed by the Earle and his tenents are transacted with the Lairds of Kelburne and sornbeg They The Saids Lords of his majesties privy Councill Doe heirby approve of the said report and Recomends to the Lords Commissioners of his Majesties thesaury To Cause payment be made to the saids vassells Chamberland and tennants out of the present polemoney of the said soume Fyve Thousand six hundreth and Fourtie thrie punds six shilling four pennies scots money.
