Recomendatione anent accomptts In favors of Sir John Aytounes tennants

The Lords of his Majesties privy Councill having Considered the report of a Committie of ther oun number appointed for reviseing the accompts resting be his majesties forces to the Countrey Bearing that the Committie having Considered the accompts given in to them as resting be his majesties forces to Sir John Aytoune of that ilk and his tenants with the instructiones and verificationes of the Same They Find the haill articles of the saids accompts sufficiently verified and proven particularly by recepts under the hands of the forces to whom the same was furnished and all of them be a report under the hands of the Commissioners of supply within the shyre of Fyfe Bearing that they have seen and Considered the saids accompts And they Find that the haill articles are suficiently instructed by recepts except some few articles upon the treuth of furnishing of which the parties that were furnishers have deponed that they truely furnished the same Alsoe upon the articles of the Grass Which the recepts bear after the subscriptions that the same was truly furnished and yet unpayed which Recepts and the Commissioners report were produced to and Considered be the said Comittie and Finds that Conforme to the saids accompts instructed as said is, Ther is resting be his Majesties forces underwritten to the said Sir John Aytone and his tennents the soumes following viz by the Lord Newbotles troop of horss the soume of Fourtie punds Sixtein shilling Scots Item by Captain Bennet of Grubits troop of horss Threttein punds ten shilling scots Item by the Earle of Eglingtoune his troop of horss ten punds Eightein shilling four penies scots Extending the thrie Soume forsaids all in one to the soume of Sixtie five punds four shilling four penies scots And The Committie Finds that the haill articles quherof the said Totall Soume is made up were all furnished preceiding the first day of February Jaj vjc nyntie one years and that they are all in the termes of the fourth act Nynth sessione of this Current parliament Intitulled act for polemoney and also in the termes of the proclamationes of Councill relative therto that the said Soume of sixtie five punds four shilling four penies scots ought to be allowed to the said Sir John and his tennents out of the present polemoney and that he and they be Recomended to the Lords Commissioners of their majesties thesaury for payment of the same accordingly as the said Report bears The saids Lords of his majesties privy Councill Doe heirby approved therof and Recomends to the Commissioners of parliament appointed anent the polemoney To Cause make payment to the said Sir John Ayton2 and his tennents of the said soume of sixtie five pounds four shilling four penies scots as resting be his majesties forces upon scots pay to them and that out of the said polemoney.
