Recomendatione anent accompts In favors of the Toune of Pearth

The Lords of his Majesties privy Councill having Considered the report of a Committie of their oun number appointed for reviseing the accomptts resting be his majesties forces to the Countrey Bearing That the Committie haveing Considered The accompts given in to them as resting be ther majesties forces upon scots pay to the burgesses and Inhabitants of the burgh of Pearth with the instructiones and verificationes therof They Find the haill articles of the saids accompts suficiently verified and proven be the oaths and depositiones of the saids burgesses and inhabitants taken before the Commissioners of Supply within the shire of Pearth produced to and Considered by the Committie, And Finds that ther is ane article amongst the saids accompts of seven pund ten shilling scots stated as resting by the Lord Rollos troop of horss for a Coffine to one of the Gentlmen of that troop who dyed at Pearth Which the Committie have not allowed But remitts to the Councill to doe therin as they shall find Just, And the Committie finds that besides the article forsaid ther is resting by their majesties forces upon scots pay to the saids burgesses and inhabitants of the burgh of Pearth The Soumes following Viz by the Lord Newbotle his Troop of horss, The soume of ane thousand fyve hundred thretie 2 four3 punds ten shilling scots money Item by the Earle of Argyle his regiment of foot the soume of six hundreth and five punds Eightein shilling scots Item by the Lord Rollos troop of horss the soume of ane hundreth and Eightie six pund five shilling four pennies scots besids the Coffine Item by the Earle of Marr his regiment of foot the soume of Two Hundreth and Fiftie four punds fourtein shilling six penies scots Item by the Laird of Grant his regiment of foot the soume of Twentie punds scots Item by the Earle of Eglingtounes troop of horss the soume of Ten pund fiftein shilling Eight penies scots Item by the Laird of Grubitts troop of horss seven punds scots Item by the Artilliary men the soume of Seventie two punds four penies scots Item by the Viscount of Kenmuir his regiment of foot The soume of seven pund ten shilling scots Item by the Lord Angus his regiment of foot the soume of Twentie six pund Threttein shilling four penies scots Item by the Earle of Glencairne his regiment of foot the soume of nyntie two punds twelue shilling scots Item by the Lord Ross his troop of horss the soume of Eleven punds sixtein shilling scots, Item by the Lord Bargenies regiment of foot the soume of fourtie nyne punds fourtein shilling eight pennies scots Item by Coll Buchan his regiment of foot the Soume of Eightein punds thrie shilling scots Extending the haill soumes forsaids resting to the saids burgesses and inhabitants altogither in one Soume to the Soume of Two Thousand Eight Hundreth nyntie seven punds twelue shilling ten pennies scots money forsaid and the Committie Finds that the haill articles quherof the said totall soume is made up, are all for meal Drink or Forrage and that they were all furnished preceiding the first day of February Jaj vjc nyntie One years, And that they are all in the termes of the nynth act Fourth sessione of this Current parliament Intitulled act for polemoney and of the proclamations of Councill relative therto dated the last day of Jully Jaj vjc nyntie four years, And Therfore It is the opinion of the Committie That the Said Totall Soume of Two Thousand Eight Hundreth and nyntie seven punds twelue shilling ten pennies scots money forsaid Is to be payed to the saids burgesses and Inhabitants of the burgh of Pearth out of the said polemoney and that the saids burgesses and inhabitants are to be recomended to the Lords Commissioners of their Majesties thesaurie for payment to them of the same accordingly as the report bears, The saids Lords Doe heirby approve of the said Report and Recomends to the Commissioners of parliament appointed anent the polemoney To Cause make payment to the saids burgesses and Inhabitants of Pearth of the above Soume of Two Thousand Eight hundreth and nyntie seven punds twelue shilling ten penies scots as resting be his majesties forces upon scots pay to them, and that out of the said Polemoney.
