Recomendatione anent Compts In favors of Patrick Adam, and John Renny

The Lords of his majesties privy Councill having Considered the report of a Committie of their oun number appoynted for reviseing the accompts resting be his majesties forces to the Countrey Bearing That the Committie having Considered the accompts given in to them be Patrick Adam Gentlman to the master of Forbes and John Ranny presenter at the kirk of Kairne both within the shyre of Aberdein With the instructiones and verificationes of the same They Find the haill articles of the saids accompts suficcently verified and proven be the oathes and depositiones of the saids Patrick Adam and John Rainy taken before two of the Commissioners of supply within the shyre of Aberdeen Which depositiones and reports were produced to and Considered be the said Committie, And Finds that thir accompts are no part of the accompts given in as resting to the Inhabitants of the said shyre in Generall And Finds that Conforme to the saids accompts and instructiones Ther is resting to the saids Patrick Adam and John Ranny be his majesties forces upon scots pay the soumes following viz to the said Patrick Adam be the deceast Lord Angus his regiment of foot The soume of Two hundreth sixtein punds scots and to the said John Rainy be the deceast Lord Cardross his regiment of Dragoons the Soume of Thrie hundred and fourtie one punds six shilling Eight penies scots Extending both the saids soumes to the soume of fyve hundreth and Fiftie seven punds six shilling Eight pennies money forsaid, and the Committie Finds that the haill Articles wherof this Last soume is made up were all furnished preceiding the first day of February Jaj vjc nyntie one years and that they are all in the termes of the nynth act fourth session of this Current parliament Intitulled act for polemoney and of the proclamationes of Councill relative therto And Therfore Its the Comitties Opinion that the said soume of Five hundreth and Fifty seven punds six shilling Eight penies scots Is to be payed out of the said polemoney and that the saids Patrick Adam and John Rany are to be Recomended to the Lords Commissioners of his majesties Thesaury for payment of the same according to their respective proportiones and intrests above sett doune. As the said report bears The Lords of his majesties privy Councill Doe heirby approve the above report and Recomends to the Commissioners of parliament appointed anent the polemoney To Cause pay the said Patrick Adam the soume of Two Hundreth and sixtein punds scots and to the said John Rany the soume of Thrie hundreth and fourtie one punds six shilling Eight penies as resting be his majesties forces upon scots pay to them and that out of the said polemoney.
