Recomendatione anent accomptts In favors of The Laird of Brodie and his tennents

The Lords of his majesties privy Councill haveing Considered2 the3 report of a Committie of ther oun number appoynted for reviseing the accompts resting be his majesties forces to the Countrey Bearing That the Committie haveing Considered the accompts given in to them as resting be his majesties forces to the Laird of Brodie and his tennents within the shyre of Elgine and Forres with the instructiones and verificationes therof They Find that ther oun some of the articles of the said accompt which are not in the termes of the act of parliament anent polemoney and proclamationes of Councill relative therto, And Therfore they have Refused and rejected these articles and Finds that the are some articles upon English forces which are not4 insisted for at this time And Finds that ther are some articles furnished to the Magazine of Elgine as to Which the Committie makes no report But that ther5 is ane accompt given in be the magazin keeper which is reported in the report made of the accompts resting to the severall heritors in this shyre and ther tennents and the Comittie Finds the haill other articles of this accompt suficiently verified and proven be the Oathes and depositiones of the said Laird of Brodie and his tennents taken before the Commissioners of supply within the said shyre Conforme to the report signed be two of the saids Comissioners produced to and Considered be the aid Committie And Finds that Conforme to the saids accompts and report, Ther is yet resting be his majesties forces after insert which were upon scots pay besides the articles forsaids The soumes following Viz be the Lord Yester his troop of horss the Soume of thriescore punds twelue shilling scots Item be the Master of Polwarth his troop of horss the soume of Two hundreth and nyntein punds Eightein shilling scots Item by the Lord Rollo his troop of horss the Soume of Fyftein punds scots Item be the Laird of Edinglassie his troop of horss the soume of four punds sixtein shilling scots Item by the deceast Lord Cardross his regiment of Dragoons two hundreth and seven punds fourtein shilling scots Item by Major Stewarts troop of horss Fourscore and Eleven punds four shilling scots Item by Coll Richard Cunninghame his regiment of foot ane hundreth and tuo punds sixtein shilling scots Item be the Viscount of Kenmure his regiement of foot Eight punds Scots Extending the haill Soumes forsaids resting be his majesties forces upon scots pay to the said Laird of Brodie and his Tennents To the soume of six hundred and ten punds scots and Finds that the haill articles quherof the said Last Soume is made up are all in the termes of the nynth act Fourth sessione of this Current parliament Intitulled act for polemoney and of the proclamations of Councill relative therto and that they were all furnished preceiding the first day of Febraury Jaj vjc nyntie one years And Therfore It is the Committies oppinion That the said soume of six hundreth and ten punds scots money forsaid is to be payed to the said Laird of Brodie and his tenants out of the present polemoney and that they are to be Recomended to the Lords Commissioners of his majesties thesaury for payment of the same accordingly as the said Report bears The saids Lords of his Majesties privy Councill Doe heirby approve of the said report And Recomends to the Commissioners of parliament appointed anent the pole money To Cause pay to the said Laird of Brodie and his tennents The above soumes of six hundred and ten punds scots money as resting be his majesties forces upon scots pay and that out of the said polemoney.
